Driven by the Spark mobile app, our 9-hole, recreational leagues are fun, social and contain just the right Spark of competition.
League players prepay for league rounds and play as 2-person teams. Each league round will consist of 2 teams playing one another in a 9-hole match. The league is intended to be fun and social with relaxed rules and friendly competition.
Once league play begins, players will use Spark's mobile app for on-course scoring and viewing of league schedule, standings and stats.

Each league round will consist of a foursome of 2-person teams playing team low net match-play. During play each team member plays their own ball into the hole. The team score for that hole is the lowest net score of the 2 players on the hole.
The Spark Playoffs will be conducted towards the end of the league for the top performing teams. Teams that don't make the playoffs will still play for fun in these rounds. Prizing will be awarded to the playoff teams.
Prizing will also be awarded for the season-long Spark Skins Game. A skin is awarded to an individual who has the lowest non-tied net score on a hole during a specific league round.

The total price for the league is $229 per player and includes green and league fees for all 8 rounds. Carts are available for purchase at the golf shop for $6 per player. The price also includes a Baltimore's Classic Five Player Card ($30 value) which provides year-round discounts and other perks at all 5 Classic Five courses. If you already have a Players Card, it will be extended 1 year from your current card's expiration date.
During league registration, players can provide their preferred partner's name and email at which time will be invited to join the league. Single players are able to register and will be teamed up with other single players.
Player subs are encouraged if players are not able to make a scheduled round. Non-league players are able to be subbed via the Spark mobile app by providing player name, email and avg. 9-hole score.
Players will also provide their average 9-hole score which will calculate the number of Spark Strokes (handicap) given to the player for each round. The number of Spark Strokes awarded will change weekly based on the player's recorded scores each round.
